Waiting List Registration

Disclaimer: Infants and Toddler rooms are at capacity for 2025.

At Kensington Kids Early Learning Centre, we are always excited to welcome new families to our centre. At Kensington Kids Early Learning Centre , there is no charge to register for the waiting list. Register by filling out our waiting list form.

 

We encourage you to:

• - Join our centre waiting list.
• - Learn more about our enrollment process.
• - Review our hours of operation and daily fees.

 

Our Process

Under the Ministry of Education guidelines, the following priority will be applied when spots are available, families will be contacted in the following order:

• - Current children enrolled at the centre will receive priority for transitioning to the next age group
• - Siblings of currently enrolled children will be prioritized for enrollment.
• - Children of current employees.
• - After fulfilling the above priorities, remaining spaces will be filled from the waiting list on a first-come, first-serve basis
• - Additional priorities may be given based on specific criteria the Centre sets (e.g. proximity to the Centre, able to support developmental/physical supports)

 

Tours

Tours will only be booked after your child has arrived, during the tour, we will discuss your individual child and family’s needs. Tours are held Monday to Friday between 9 and 11:30 AM; please email the centre to schedule a tour.

Maintaining the Waiting list

• - Families must email confirming their continued interest in remaining on the waiting list every six months.
• - Failure to confirm will result in removal from the Centre waiting list.
• - Families will be notified via email or phone when a space becomes available.
• - If a family does not respond within 48 hours of notification, their spot may be offered to the next family on the waiting list.

 

You will receive an email confirming that your child or expected child is on our Centre’s waiting list. Please ONLY use this email to communicate with the Centre and to confirm your interest every 6 month, update any information or schedule a tour of our childcare centre.

We kindly request that tours be scheduled 4-6 months prior to your desired start date at the Centre. This will allow you the opportunity to assess any available spots and make an informed decision if a spot would become available.
